Kentucky Derby Museum - Located on Central Avenue, adjacent to Churchill Downs, this museum showcases the Thoroughbred industry and the Kentucky Derby. Explore three floors of displays include racing artifacts and a Thoroughbred exhibit. Highlights include computerized hands-on equipment and a 360 degree audio-visual re-creation of Kentucky Derby Day. A 30 minute walking tour of Churchill Downs is offered.

Louisville Slugger Museum - It takes a special place to craft the Official Bat of Major League Baseball. Since 1884, Louisville Slugger has put prime lumber in the hands of the greatest players of the game. A visit to the museum shows you how the sport has changed a bit between then and now, but the "crack of the bat" remains one of the sporting world's most thrilling moments.

Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom - Enjoy a full day of adventure and pure bliss at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom. This amusement park has more than 110 rides and ATTRACTIONS. The park features seven roller coasters, including Chang, considered to be the world's longest stand-up coaster. Also featured is the Hurricane Bay water park, and a play area designed especially for children under 48 inches tall.

Louisville Zoo - The Louisville Zoo currently exhibits over 1,300 animals in naturalistic and mixed animal settings representing both geographical areas and habitats. The Herp Aquarium features 100 species of reptiles, amphibians and fish from around the world exhibited amidst ecologically balanced habitats. University of Louisville - The University of Louisville is a state supported research university located in Kentucky's largest metropolitan area. The University has three campuses. The 274-acre Belknap Campus is three miles from downtown Louisville and houses seven of the university's 11 colleges and schools.
